Amazon, founded in 1994, runs one of the world's largest online marketplaces and, through Amazon Web Services, the largest cloud platform. AWS sells a full language-AI stack: Amazon Translate for neural machine translation, Amazon Transcribe for speech recognition, Amazon Polly for text-to-speech, and Bedrock for hosted large language models. Amazon is also a heavy user of localization itself, operating marketplaces, Prime Video and Alexa across many languages, and Prime Video has adopted AI-assisted dubbing for licensed content.
