TransPerfect Posts 7% Growth in 2025 as Language Services Fall Below 50% of Revenue
TransPerfect reported a revenue of $1.32 billion for 2025, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. Notably, traditional language services now account for less than 50% of total revenue for the first time, reflecting a strategic shift towards industry-specific solutions that integrate language services with technology and consulting. This transition is underscored by growth in non-translation business units, including Media and Legal services.
Co-CEO Phil Shawe emphasized that the company’s success is driven by strong demand for localization services and proprietary AI technology. Notably, licensing revenue for their GlobalLink platform rose by 18%, and their AI Consulting services have seen double-digit growth. The company has also expanded through acquisitions, targeting firms in media production and technology.
Geographically, TransPerfect experienced significant growth in Japan and the UAE, with plans for further expansion in Saudi Arabia and the Philippines. Looking ahead to 2026, the company aims to enhance its technology offerings and continue developing vertical-specific solutions. For more details, read the full article.
