A recent global debate revealed that 47% of language professionals feel unprepared for ongoing changes, highlighting a critical skills gap that needs to be addressed.

This finding underscores the urgent need for continuous professional development in localization and language services. Participants emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities, industry associations, and language service providers to equip the next generation of professionals with the necessary competencies. In response, the ACIL is launching an AI-focused training program in collaboration with Magic Beans Agency, aimed at enhancing skills relevant to modern language workflows.
